Megan Mercier is a writer/performer among other things who hails from the great state of Alabama but currently resides in Chicago, much to her family’s chagrin. She keeps a B.A. from Columbia College Chicago in the bottom drawer of her night table. Megan has been an ensemble member with The Neo-Futurists since 2008, with whom she can be seen regularly in Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind and an array of other meta-theatrical projects. When she is not contributing to this charming cornerstone of late night hodgepodge programing, Megan contributes work to other things, like 2nd Story, Write Club, and The Paper Machete.
She loves music.
She loves children.
She trolls “missed connections” but, to her knowledge, has never been the subject of one.
you can also find her on Facebook and Twitter.

update - 5 january, 2011:
megan left facebook. again. this is the third time in as many years. don’t fret. she’ll probably be back before long. between you and we, her rash decision probably falls somewhere between a subversive cry for attention and the self-motivated need to prove an arbitrary point.
in her new-found free time, megan figured out how to add YouTube as a channel on her new Roku box.
in other news, she’s having a rough time reconciling the lack of capitalization of her name with the blind capitalization of things like “YouTube” and “Roku.”
